Don’t buy email lists
You’ve probably received an email like this.
On the surface, it sounds great. Who wouldn’t want access to mental health professionals, or other groups, for marketing purposes?
But in reality, these email lists aren’t helpful.
People on them haven’t opted in to hearing from you, so they probably won’t open the email.
Or worse, they’ll report it as spam, which can hurt your deliverability rating and cause your emails to end up in the spam folder.
If you’ve ever received an unsolicited email or phone call, you know how it feels.
So why would you do that to someone else?
Instead, build your email list by starting a newsletter. Focus on delivering value to your target audience.
It takes more time than buying a list, but it’s worth it in the long run.
