Despite their questionable business practices, Psychology Today remains the most popular directory website for therapists. But it’s not the only one.

Track referrals from directories in a spreadsheet on a monthly basis so you can measure return on investment (ROI) over time. Cancel subscriptions that aren’t converting.
Prioritize directories that reach your ideal client or niche.
Therapist matching sites (e.g. Mental Health Match) are generally more effective than directories because they give you higher-quality referrals. More here.
