Your therapy niche is a version of you

Your therapy niche is probably a version of you.

I love this take from Patrick Casale, LCMHC.

As he explains on Instagram, his niche when he started out was young adult men struggling with addiction—a version of himself.

Now he works with high-performing entrepreneurs who struggle with perfectionism and have a lot of self-doubt. Again, a version of himself.

So if you’re struggling with figuring out your niche, look inward.

Because who wouldn’t want a therapist who understands their experience?

As Patrick says, “relatability is accessibility.”
