The goal of marketing is to reach the right people with the right message at the right time.

What does that mean for therapists?

First, reaching the right people is about identifying your ideal client. I’ve talked about how to select your niche here.

The right message speaks to your ideal client. I’ve talked about being more customer-centric here.

Finally, the right time is about where they are in the decision process. Context is important. Are they looking for information or are they looking to buy?

If you reach the wrong people with the wrong message at the wrong time, then your marketing isn’t going to work.
