Print ads aren’t dead
I was flipping through my local city newspaper when I saw this ad.
A few things that immediately stood out to me:
It’s clear who they help.
They offer flexible appointments.
They accept insurance.
It’s clear how to contact them.
I’d probably add a website, too, but that’s just me. Maybe the phone number works for them.
I was curious how much the ad cost, so I looked it up.
It costs $160/month to run a ⅙ page ad, which is actually pretty reasonable. If it brings in one new client, then it pays for itself. And it’s a tax write off.
It’s also great for getting your name out there in the local community. Remember marketing is about being top of mind when people are ready to buy.
Most people who see your ad probably aren’t looking for a therapist right now.
But when they are, they’ll think of you.
