How you do one thing is how you do everything

I’m big on the idea “how you do one thing is how you do everything.”

I first heard it from Bob Iger, the CEO of the Walt Disney Company, in his book, The Ride of a Lifetime.

Integrity matters in marketing. If you do the right thing, then good things will usually happen. If you don’t do the right thing, then it will usually catch up to you.

Elizabeth Earnshaw, LMFT talked about this idea in my conversation with her for Heard Business School.

Consistency matters, too. It’s crucial to maintain a high standard of excellence, from the copy on your website to your posts on social media to your consultation and intake experience.

Quality suffers when you start cutting corners and your brand suffers as a result.
