How to validate your online course idea

Before you create an online course, it’s important to validate your online course idea.

Otherwise, you’ll waste time and money creating an online course no one wants to buy.

One way to validate your online course idea is to build a waitlist. If enough people join the waitlist, then you know you’re on to something.

On the flip side, if no one joins the waitlist, then it’s probably time to go back to the drawing board.

Another way to validate your online course idea is to do market research. Do similar courses already exist for your target audience?

For example, if there’s already 10 online courses for teens struggling with anxiety, then you may struggle to stand out.

Find the gaps in the market instead.
