Do you see clients on the weekend?

If you’re just starting out in private practice or you’re struggling to get clients, consider getting creative with your schedule.

When Kelley Stevens of @theprivatepracticepro on Instagram started her private practice, she saw clients on Saturdays for the first two years.

A lot of clients aren’t able to make therapy sessions during normal “business hours” and many therapists aren’t willing to offer evening or weekend appointments, so it’s a great way to differentiate yourself.

The key here to avoiding burnout is to flex your schedule. Don’t work seven days a week.

If you see clients on Sundays, then take Mondays (or another day) off.
