The Apple marketing philosophy
I think a lot about the original Apple Marketing philosophy from 1977.
First, great marketing starts with a deep understanding of your customer’s needs. As a therapist, you understand this better than anyone because you talk to your clients every day. Speak to these needs on your website and in your content.
Second, focus is everything. It’s okay to offer additional services like coaching or consulting, but don’t stretch yourself too thin. Say no to things more often.
Finally, if you present yourself as a high quality therapist in your marketing, then you will be perceived as one. This doesn’t necessarily mean that you need to appear “professional” but your marketing shouldn’t look slipshod, either.
