Steal this SEO idea

The goal of search engine optimization (SEO) is to increase the likelihood your website shows up in Google search results.

Typically, people search for therapists in their area. Optimizing for these searches is called local SEO.

One thing you can do to increase your local SEO is to include location-based keywords and phrases on the pages of your website.

Here’s an example.

Dr. Susan Pazak is a clinical psychologist and coach based in Orange County, CA. She has individual pages for each of her service offerings, including anxiety, which is great.

She goes one step further by including “Therapy for managing anxiety in Orange County” on the anxiety page as a subtitle.

This tells Google she is an authority on therapy for managing anxiety in Orange County, and increases the likelihood she shows up when someone searches for that phrase.

Simple, right?
