How to do a year-end review

December is a great time to reflect on the past year in your therapy business.

Did you set revenue or growth goals for your practice this year?

Maybe you wanted to hit $100,000 for the first time, grow your business by 20% year-over-year, or reach a full caseload of 25 clients per week.

If you reached your goals, congratulations! If you didn’t, do you know why not?

If you didn’t set goals, that’s okay, too. Next year is a great time to start.

Here are some questions to guide your year-end review.

  • What went well in your business this year?

  • What didn’t go well in your business this year?

  • What marketing activities worked this year?

  • What marketing activities didn’t work this year?

  • What do you want to start, stop, and continue doing next year?

  • If you could wave a magic wand, what would you change about your business?

  • What condition do you want to improve for yourself as a business owner?

If you want a thought partner, I offer 1:1 marketing consulting calls for therapists and would be happy to help!
